OPAP Limassol International Marathon is the biggest sports celebration that takes place in sunny and picturesque Cyprus. In Limassol Marathon everyone is a winner. Dedication, hard work, joy and excitement meets all together and each runner is a part of this sports celebration.

The medal design was only one part of the project, but it appeared to be one of the most iconic elements of the event.

The medal design became the refference point, the stable ground for the whole branding of this year’s event. Representing sunny and wavy Limassol and Cyprus itself, a simple & minimalistic design created a medal design - that stands out in the crowd. The sun and sea here interfers each other and becomes one same as watching the sunrise on the beachfront of Limassol.

Designs for the ribbons were chosen to go along with the branding of each race of the event. Limassol Marathon medal was also one of the two parts of the winners award. The winners trophys were designed in a way so that the medal could be inserted to make an extension of the sea waves on the front side.
